I am hoping that the weather holds this week and a number of the cup games are played.

The League would ask that in the first instance the game should be played if one of your pitches is fit and available - irrespective of whose turn it is.

If not we would ask that clubs consider the use of a 3G pitch or alternatively a grass pitch at UCLAN Sports Arena. The pitches at UCLAN have been played on today (Wednesday) and providing there is no/not much rain should be available on Saturday. With Anderton no longer in the League and Springfields and Preston Wanderers due to be playing away there will be pitches available - the number for UCLAN is 01772 761000. The 3G pitches include :

Preston College
Brownedge School
Croston (Bishop Rawsthorne)
Ashton Community College
ESSA Academy

Where clubs have to pay for a pitch outside of their normal costs the League will contribute 50% of the pitch cost. We would ask that you pay in the first instance and we will reimburse you.

Please make early contact between the two clubs and advise Peter Jones the Fixtures Secretary and myself in terms of what you decide.
