League Update 16/12/18

All,

Firstly thank you to all the clubs who gave early notification of postponed games for this weekend. We were able to reallocate all the officials to other games which meant that we managed to get 11 games completed which given the weather conditions was quite remarkable . The weather did intervene on two other games which had to be abandoned at half time.

There are no fines for November in respect of team sheets - just a couple for non attendance at the League meeting.

As the weather has been so favourable in the first half of the season we are well on with the fixtures - there are a small number of teams where we have some catching up to do. A number of clubs as you can see from the League tables have completed well over half of their fixtures. Let's hope the good weather continues in the New Year.

On behalf of the League Management Committee can I wish all our clubs, their players, team officials and volunteers, together with all our match officials a very happy and safe Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
