Fixtures for first two weeks of the season

A few matters to update you on:

PRE SEASON MEETING

We will be holding our usual meeting prior to the start of the season. This will be held at 7:30pm on Wednesday 10 August at Bamber Bridge County & Catholic Club, Brownedge Road, Bamber Bridge, PR5 6TA. All Saturday teams must be represented.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

Currently there are ~870 players that have been registered on the Whole Game System. Please could all teams ensure that players are registered at least 7 days before the start of the season. Any matters relating to Player Registration, please contact either Albert Newton or Alan Stuttard (details available on the Contacts page).

NOTES FOR TEAMS FOR 2022/23

The main issues that clubs need to be aware of are available on the downloads page. The main issue is early communication between clubs and with the match officials.

INTEGRATION TO FULL TIME

The request to the FA to integrate the Whole Game System to the Full Time System has now been made. The integration takes about 3 days. This will mean that the Divisions can be setup, Team/Club/Referee contact details can be setup on the system and fixtures can be populated. The players who have been registered on WGS will be migrated over to Full time so that you can complete the online teamsheets/referee marks and pitch condition/behaviour.

In order to help clubs plan their availability the fixtures for the first two weeks of the season are available on the Match Info page. Any queries, please email Peter Jones (details available on the Contacts page). Please note mid week fixtures have been arranged for both Tuesday and Wednesday. If we get more referee availability we will be able to add fixtures to the Saturdays. the aim over the first 4 weeks of the season is to get all teams to have played 4/5 fixtures.

REFEREES

Again, a request if clubs know of the availability of any local referees or you have referees in your clubs who can help us out. There is still a shortage of referees and any help would be appreciated. Also, if any clubs are able to host double headers whilst the light is still good on Saturdays, that would also help us. There will be a limit on the number of fixtures on the first few Saturdays de to holidays/cricket etc. We do have good numbers of referees for the midweek fixtures. Any matters relating to referees please contact Tony Alty (details available on the Contacts page).

WEBSITE

Thank you to all clubs who have sent in their registration forms. The website is currently being updated and again will be migrated over to the 2022/23 season shortly. Please check that your club details are correct as this is important regarding match day contacts, club colours in the event of a kit clash and directions to grounds particularly for new clbs. If you need to make any changes, please contact Donna Artis (details available on the Contacts page).

VETERANS

Tom Jacques looks after all matters relating to the Veterans. If you have any queries, please contact Tom directly. Hopefully with the development of additional 3G facilities, for example the 2 new pitches at Bamber Bridge Leisure Centre, this will improve the quality of the pitches available to use for matches.

If anybody has any questions to raise at the meeting, or in respect of any of the above, please let me know.
