Defying Weather Disruptions: Victories, Goals, and Dramatic Shootouts Define This Weekend's Football Action!

In the Premiership, despite weather disruptions affecting two fixtures, Highgrove managed to secure a 2-0 victory over Walmer Bridge, though the goal scorers for Highgrove remain unspecified.

In Division One, Cherrybrook triumphed with a 4-2 win against Standish St Wilfrids Reserves, with Martyn Glover, Jack Crowther, Rhys Nealon, and Robbie Heaton finding the net for Cherrybrook, while Matt Mason and Johan Du Toit scored for Standish.

In Division Two, Cube FC edged past Bickerstaffe Reserves with a 3-2 victory, thanks to goals from substitutes Usama Ahemd and Shamail Aurang.

In the Lancastrian Brigade Cup quarter-finals, Astley FC dominated their match against Middleton & Overton Sports FC with a 4-1 win, featuring goals from Anthony Baffoe, James Knott (2), and Josh Speakman, while Thomas Egan scored for Middleton & Overton Sports.
Fleetwood Hesketh advanced to the next round after a thrilling penalty shootout, defeating Hoole United 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw, although the scorer for Fleetwood remains unknown and Alfie Parker scored for Hoole.
Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs Reserves secured a convincing 5-1 victory against Sir Tom Finney, though the scorers for both teams are unspecified.

Finally, in the Lancashire FA Amateur Cup quarter-finals, Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs and Moston Brook played out a 1-1 draw, with Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs emerging victorious 4-3 on penalties, with Thomas Taylor-Hampson scoring for Southport & Ainsdale Amateurs, while Moston Brook currently lead the Lancashire and Cheshire AFL Premiership.
